Professional profile and qualifications for the position:

We are looking for a Senior Architect who is passionate to lead design processes for medium and large-scale high-end hospitality projects. This full-time position will be based in our Madrid office.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision and a deep understanding of Architectural Design and Interior Design, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate the design and the project. It is essential that you share our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and contributing to the ongoing growth of the luxury hospitality sector.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Designing, planning, developing and executing architectural design and technical documentation in coordination with the team.
Produce the Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Finishes Specifications and Construction Documents alongside the team.
Work in coordination with other consultants (lighting, MEP, AV, kitchen, SPA, etc.) during Schematic and Design Development phases.
Technical detailing of bespoke elements.
Site supervision and coordination with all the technical parties involved in the project as well as the client’s team on site.

Requisitos

Professional skills required:

Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
More than 5 years of experience in hospitality projects.
Sound knowledge of the concept and design process, project documentation and construction supervision.
Intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques.
Must have experience in medium to large scale projects (from inception to construction and taking the lead on technical coordination processes for architecture and other disciplines).
Full professional proficiency in English (interview will be conducted in English).
International experience in projects of medium to large scale.
Excellent presentation skills.
Proficiency in current industry standard computer skills:
AutoCAD
Revit
Photoshop
SketchUp
Microsoft Office

Desirable professional skills:

3D skills will be an advantage (3D Max, Rhino, etc.)
Project management and team coordination skills.
Availability to occasionally travel abroad.
The ability to express ideas through hand sketches is also valued.
